After a week of producing figurative drawings and generally bulking up my sketchbook, I was worried that I wasn't on the right track, not only in the project but whether I was actually in the right specialism... At this point I was really worried because I couldn't see myself doing any other specialism other than illustration at this moment in time.
So attending this session was most important so I could get some advise... and it paid off!
In the session I talked about the positive points....
* That my means of illustration of observational drawing was not as strong as my drawings with other tools, such as edges of cards and wire.
* That generally I needed to be more confident in what I am doing and everything else will follow.
*Spend more time in the printroom as that my work really shows my strengths.
After this discussion, I was much more happier and highly motivated. :)
